Planning  consent for a large special care home was won by us  at the RNIB site in Burnham on Sea. It was completed by a design and build contractor to whom we were novated. the cost was just over £2m.

Shortlisted  for a care home of the year award, and opened by Peter White the  broadcasting celebrity.

Social Housing Tenders

Before a tender goes in we can assist with the pricing. Many project managers do not write enough detail, and we issue a checklist so as to avoid misunderstandings later. The kind of detail  can include large cost implications from the Housing Quality Indicators, the Secure by Design or the Lifetime Homes requirements.

We have experienced tender drawings being issued in which the plans, especially the kitchens, are not large enough to include all the above, yet the schemes already have planning consent.
